How we can help
A one stop nanofabrication shop
The Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) was founded to help Australian R&D succeed through open access to micro and nanofabrication equipment and expertise. We provide scientists with access to the infrastructure they need to carry out world-class research. We provide businesses with the equipment and expertise to accelerate and achieve their research, product development, and commercialisation goals.
Since 2007, we’ve been accumulating capabilities in order to cater for the full Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) scale, and tailoring service to be as easy to access as possible.

ANFF now represents an investment of more than $400m in research infrastructure made by Commonwealth and State Governments, as well as partner organisations. The network provides access to more than 500 individual pieces of equipment across 20 sites, and is home to more than 100 experts employed under the ANFF banner that assist approximately 3,000 users a year to conduct nano-oriented R&D.
The network provides a mixture of advanced training, expert assistance and process development support that isn’t available anywhere else, while continuing to make access to equipment easy.
