Purification and drying

Removing contaminants from a sample is vital to ensuring uniformity and reproducibility of a sample. It is also required to enable certain chemical reactions that would not be possible with even trace amounts of contaminants, such as water – high purity solvents are a good example of this.Producing high purity samples requires specialist equipment that is typically located in specialised environments.
