New capabilities available around ANFF

Olympus OLS5000 3D at ANFF-SA
ANFF South Australia's state-of-the-art Olympus OLS5000 3D measuring laser microscope has now been installed and is open for training.
The new microscope allows sub-micron 3D observations and non-contact surface roughness measurements with excellent lateral resolution to be taken quickly.

Specialist microfluidic modelling and design

ANFF-SA Microfluidics scientist and simulation engineer, Dr Moein Kashani is offering his process system modelling, simulation, design and engineering expertise to ANFF users.

Moein’s own research concentrates on detailed understanding of the fluid behaviour and enhance the design capacity of microfluidic systems. His research experience includes computational fluid dynamics in microfluidic systems, understand dynamics of fluid in complicated geometries, phase morphology in multiphase fluid flows and simulation of microfluidic devices.

New 3D printer at ANFF-Q

ANFF-Q has added a third 3D printer to help meet user demands.

The Titan 2, made by Kudo3D, uses a combination of SLA (Stereolithography) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D printing technologies to selectively photocure liquid resin. Combining these technologies drastically reduces susceptible to ambient temperature, dusts and mechanical failure, making the Titan 2 a more reliable, robust and accurate 3D printer.
