PDMS laboratory

Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is a silicon-based organic polymer that is inert, non-toxic, optically clear, and inexpensive, making it a popular choice for microfluidic and optofluidic device fabrication. PDMS replicas of solid-state masters for rapid prototyping and testing of devices can be produced by casting and curing the PDMS over the appropriate master mold.

The PDMS laboratory at MCN features a fully equipped laboratory that enables you to cast and cure PDMS over a range of solid-state master molds. In addition, MCN offers a wide range of complementary capabilities for fabricating master molds as well as testing prototype PDMS devices in-house.
